Alas, our long-awaited, bbq-smoke filled 4th of July weekend
is just around the corner! TRAIN celebrates Monday with
special gym hours and a marquee Spin schedule:
GYM HOURS: 8 am 1pm
Studio 630 will be closed.
To further chisel
our bodies into bikini or board-short shape (ok, speedo
shape, too), we are now offering Unlimited Monthly classes! For
the first time ever, you can now spin and sculpt to your
hearts' content for a flat fee of $270 per month. For
just $50 more than a 20-series, you can take as many spin
and Studio 630 classes every month. Minimum purchase
is 3 months and the series is non-transferable. Unlimited
3-month period starts from date of purchase. Fire up
your calculators or see any of our Front Desk Associates
to see if this deal works for you.
SAFETY FIRST!
To avoid unnecessary injury, please turn
off treadmills when you are finished using the machines.
We've recently augmented our Ready Care X-Wipes with Lemon
Lysol Antibacterial Disinfectant sprays all over the gym. Please
use them liberally before and after your use of equipment
and spin bikes.
CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Recently, our very own TRAINsters: Spin
Instructor, Rebecca Cardon and Mylene Dane, performed as
'Wheel Walkers' for the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce
car during the Christopher Street West Gay Pride Parade. As
active members of the chamber, TRAINsters Rebecca and Mylene
exuberantly exhorted parade watchers to join the chamber. Rebecca
also enjoyed the recognition she received from her many
Amazing Race fans along the route. Of course, these
two demure TRAIN representatives wore their most modest
attire for the occasion. Says, Mindy Bradish, CEO of
the We Ho Chamber: 'I can't thank you enough for helping
us out. There couldn't have been two better people.'
TEAM TRAIN JOINS AIDS WALK
Who'da thunk??? Last year, several
of us TRAIN folks woke up on a drizzly Sunday morning and
joined hundreds of thousands of others to walk and raise
money for the 20th Anniversary of AIDS WALK. Little
did we know we were truly the 'little train that could'. We
were able to raise a total of $11,619.00 enough to entitle
us to a Gold Team Status tying the Melissa Etheridge Network
and, get this, beating the County of Los Angeles in raising
money!!! Way to go Team TRAIN!!!
This year, we are once again excited to
gear up TEAM TRAIN and even double our goal. You too
can be part of TEAM TRAIN! Watch out for more announcements,
signs and events all over the gym in anticipation of reaching
and surpassing our goal for 2005!!!
Remember to eat healthy and be safe during your 4th of July Weekend!
